3D printing a bike saddle

I thought it would be fun to 3D print my own bike saddle. Ever since Carbon partnered with Fizik, Selle Italia, and other brands, I've always wanted a 3D printed saddle but didn't want to shell out $600 for one.

Although it's not exactly the same, it's amazing that I can now print my own saddle for less than $60.

The saddle lasted the entire summer and shows no sign of wear or breakage. It was printed in white Polymaker HF TPU 95A and black Bambu PAHTCF on the Bambu Lab H2D. It was very easy to assemble and relatively comfortable. But most importantly, it looks super cool on my bike.

I have so many more thoughts and ideas after making and riding this. Should I use the Carbon lattice engine? Is there a Formlabs resin I can use instead? What about foaming TPU for true variable density? Pressure mapping?
